HUNTINGTON, W.Va. — This fall, donors to Marshall University’s Big Green Scholarship Fund will be the subjects of a trial to determine whether university officials will allow stadium-wide alcohol sales in the Joan C. Edwards Stadium.
On Tuesday, Marshall’s Board of Governors approved a measure to allow Big Green donors to consume alcohol in the premium seating areas of the stadium, most often referred to as the chair-back sections, during a special meeting in the Chris Cline Athletic Complex in Huntington.
