BECKLEY, W.Va. — Kroger plans to hire 14,000 new workers nationwide, including 200 in southern West Virginia.
The country’s largest supermarket chain announced this week that it will hold open interviews in its stores in dozens of states Saturday to start filling the positions, including two Beckley locations.
Nationwide, the openings range from full-time department heads and assistant store managers to part-time courtesy clerks and cashiers, but in southern West Virginia, mostly full-time and part-time hourly employees are being sought.
