CHESAPEAKE, W.Va. — Actress Naya Rivera has been charged with domestic battery after an incident late Saturday in Kanawha County, police say.

In a news release, the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office said deputies arrested Rivera after her husband, actor Ryan Dorsey, said she struck him in the head and face.
The sheriff’s office said the couple was arguing over their child. Dorsey did not need medical attention, police say.
A deputy saw minor injuries consistent with Dorsey’s statement and also saw a video that supported Dorsey’s account, the sheriff’s office said.
Rivera, 30, of Woodland Hills, California, is known for her role as Santana Lopez on the television show “Glee.” Dorsey, a Chesapeake native, is an actor with roles on the television shows “Nashville” and “Pitch.”
Rivera was arraigned in Kanawha County Magistrate Court, where bond was set. She was then released from custody, police say.
