CHARLESTON, W.Va. — For the past month, James Jarrett, of Elkview, has had to go to Kanawha City to buy his groceries. He can’t go to McDonald’s whenever he feels like it anymore or pick up his prescriptions at Kmart.
He used to get all those things at Crossings Mall, which has been closed since the culvert connecting the shopping center to Little Sandy Road was washed out by the June 23 floods.
