WVPA Sharing: ‘Do Not Use’ water advisory for nine West Virginia counties still in place

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Kanawha County’s Office of Emergency Services this morning reports that the “Do Not Use Water” advisory from West Virginia American Water Company has not been lifted for the nine counties involved in the ongoing water crisis in West Virginia.

The public is advised to continue to monitor the news, radio and social media for updates throughout the day. Kanawha County will continue to work with WV American Water to disseminate information as quickly as possible regarding the advisory.

Kanawha County’s Emergency Operations Center re-opens at 8 a.m. Monday and can be reached at 304-746-8828 for assistance to Kanawha County residents.
