WV Power single game tickets available March 11

Power to discount tickets for 17 hours based on the WCHS-TV temperature at 6:20 a.m. on March 11

CHARLESTON, W.Va – Starting at 7 a.m. on March 11, single game tickets for the 2016 season West Virginia Power season will be on sale at wvpower.com.

Tickets for all games, including the top promotional dates, will be available and the Power will offer a promotional ticket price until 12 a.m. on Saturday, March 12.

During the March 11 morning news on WCHS-TV, meteorologist Doug Harlow will give the temperature at 6:20 a.m. That temperature will set the single game ticket price for all box seats for all games from 7 a.m. on March 11 until 12 a.m. on March 12 at a dime per degree. For example, if the temperature is 22 degrees at 6:20 a.m., Power box seat tickets will be on sale for $2.20 each.

The discounted ticket price applies to all tickets purchased with a maximum of eight box seat tickets per game. Other restrictions apply and all purchases are subject to a $1.50 service fee per ticket.

When the discounted ticket promotion expires, single game tickets will rise to their 2016 advance rate. General admission tickets are $6 and box seats are $8. Tickets will only be available online March 11-13 and can be purchased in person at the Power box office beginning Monday, March 14, at 10 a.m.

The West Virginia Power promotional schedule will be released on March 9 and will include 16 fireworks shows as well as top promotions like BrewFest CharlieWest, a Faith and Family Festival, Redneck Night 5, Chuck’s Birthday and a Pittsburgh Pirates prospect-themed duel bobblehead giveaway on Aug. 27.

Season tickets and mini-plans for the 2016 campaign are available now by visiting wvpower.com or calling 304-344-BATS.
