Manchin to host town hall event on the Iran Deal

He will also deliver remarks at the West Virginia Business Summit and participate in a roundtable discussion in Preston County

Washington, D.C. – This week, U.S. Senator Joe Manchin (D-WV) will travel around West Virginia and meet with local residents, community and business leaders and state and local officials to discuss our state and nation’s most pressing current issues. On Thursday, he will host a town hall discussion on the Iran nuclear deal at the University of Charleston and deliver remarks at the West Virginia Business Summit at the Greenbrier. On Friday, he will travel to Preston County to participate in a roundtable discussion with local residents.

“Traveling around our beautiful state and meeting with the wonderful people of West Virginia is truly one of the best parts of my job as a United States Senator,” Senator Manchin said. “I am looking forward to hearing from West Virginians about the challenges our communities are facing and their thoughts and concerns regarding the Iran nuclear deal.”‎

Where: Kingwood Craig Civic Center, 311 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood.
What: Senator Manchin will meet with Preston County residents during a town hall, hosted by the Preston County News and Journal.
