SBA participates in Lunch & Learn session with Lockheed Martin

FAIRMONT, W.Va. ─ The U.S. Small Business Administration participates in Lunch & Learn Session with Lockheed Martin Thursday, Aug. 27, at the Robert H. Mollohan Research Center in Fairmont. The event is presented in collaboration by the West Virginia High Technology Consortium Foundation Affiliate Services Group, I-79 Development Council and the U.S. Small Business Administration’s West Virginia District Office.

During the session small/diverse businesses learn how to market their capabilities to become a supplier. Lockheed Martin officials provide information on what they look for in a supplier and educate small business owners on processes to share a new technology or invention with Lockheed Martin’s engineers or program managers. This opportunity to meet directly with Lockheed Martin employees in the Supply Chain or Supplier Diversity functions is in perfect alignment with SBA’s Supply Chain Initiative.
Agenda includes presentations by Lockheed Martin’s Drew Brooks, the Clarksburg Site Lead & Manufacturing Senior Manager and Emma Stevens, the Small Business Administrator for the F-35 Program.

Media interviews with speakers are available. Contact Nikki Bowmar at [email protected] or 304-623-7445.
