Pendleton Times seeking editor

FRANKLIN, W.Va. — The Pendleton Times Newspaper is looking for an editor to direct community news operations.

If you’re interested in the opportunity to serve as editor of a weekly newspaper in Franklin, W.Va., which is located in Pendleton County in the eastern portion of the state, now is the time to contact the West Virginia Press Association.

The McCoy family-owned newspaper is looking for an editor to direct its community news operation. “This is a beautiful part of West Virginia, with good people and a strong history of civic involvement,” said owner John McCoy. “We are looking for an editor who will oversee the development of our news operation and serve as a strong voice for community development and improvement. We want this to be a good community newspaper that will serve local residents now and as we move forward.”

The editor would direct the news operation and work with the ownership to direct the newspaper operation.

This rural newspaper is a small operation located in the downtown of Franklin in eastern West Virginia. Salary for the position is negotiable. Interested applicants should email resumes to  [email protected] .
