Cranberry Mountain Nature Center to present native orchid tour Saturday

RICHWOOD, W.Va. — Guest speaker Charles Garratt will present the free program Saturday at 10 a.m. The event will begin with a photo presentation and talk followed by a trip to Cranberry Glades and the surrounding area to look at a few of these orchids.

Be prepared to hike short distances if you go on the tours. You do not have to attend both sections of the workshop if you would only like to come to part of it.

Participants should bring a notepad, camera, lunch and a rain coat.

The Cranberry Mountain Nature Center is located at the Junction of Rt.39/55 and 150 (the Scenic Highway) 23 miles east of Richwood, 14 miles west of Marlinton. For more information call 304-653-4826.
