REEDSVILLE, W.Va. — Local youth horse riders had the chance to show off their animals during the 4-H Kids Fun Show on July 9 at the WVU Reedsville Farm.

Organizer Lisa Weaver said not every young person who owns a horse can afford to participate in a show. That’s what the fun show is for.

Weaver said it takes a lot of heart for anyone to control a 1,000-pound animal.

“It’s all them,” she said of the riders.
