Thousands of kids in three flood counties get shoes

CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Thousands of West Virginia students took home new shoes Thursday. More than 4,400 pairs of shoes were donated by Dominion Transmission employees and distributed to 11 schools across Kanawha, Nicholas and Clay counties in response to damage sustained by those communities in the June 23 floods…
