MORGANTOWN, W.Va. – The Mountaineer Spay Neuter Assistance Program (M-SNAP) gave out cookies to area humane societies and veterinarians in honor of World Spay Day.

The cookies were given as a token of appreciation to those who show progress in M-SNAP’s cause. February is Spay Month, and M-SNAP wants to remind everyone about the importance of controlling the pet population. M-SNAP uses a voucher program to select which pets get spayed or neutered. To donate, visit m-snap.org.
