A buck sat between a generator and a wall near the Charleston Town Center mall Quarrier Street parking garage for most of the day Monday. It wasn’t immediately clear if the deer was injured. David Arbogast, W.Va. Division of Natural Resources wildlife manager, and Wildlife Biologist Kem Shaw removed the deer after shooting it with a tranquilizer. DNR officials said the deer would be euthanized.
