To further explain the “stacked image,” my camera was placed on the tripod with an exposure of 30 seconds for each frame it recorded. Over the span of several hours, the camera took another photo every 45 seconds, recording several hundred images. As the night sky moved, stars were recorded in a slightly different location. Aiming the camera toward the north created an image with concentric circular streaks centered on the north celestial pole once the images are literally stacked on top of each other using software to achieve the circular pattern. If you look closely you can see several meteors/shooting stars.
