BECKLEY, W.Va. — Snowtubers glide down their lanes at thrilling speeds during a sunny Saturday afternoon at Winterplace Ski Resort. Last week’s winter storm gave way to clear skies and decent weekend weather, and skiers, snowboarders and snowtubers traveled to Winterplace to take advantage of the snow — and the relative warmth before the big chill expected Monday.
