WV State Fair opens with mix of old, new

BECKLEY, W.Va. — From barnyard animals large and small to carnival rides, free entertainment, delicious food and exciting concerts, the 92nd Annual State Fair of West Virginia invites families, friends to “Capture Your Memories.”

“There’s something for everybody,” CEO Kelly Collins said of the event which kicks off today.

Fairgoers will see a mix of familiar and new as Collins said a goal is to continue popular activities while searching for new events certain to draw excitement.
