FAIRLEA, W.Va. — No trip to the State Fair of West Virginia would be complete without a walk through the livestock barns.
The fair offers no shortage of delicious food, rides and other types of entertainment, but the barns are the heart of the annual celebration.
And while most people mention a walk through the pens as a yearly tradition, for some families, including Carolyn and Bob Canterbury’s, those barns serve as a home-away-from-home.
