BRIDGEPORT, W.Va. — A grand reopening celebration drew hundreds of people to the Meadowbrook Mall Saturday with celebrity appearances, refreshments and entertainment on tap for shoppers.
A ribbon-cutting ceremony and presentation of two charitable contributions kicked off festivities to mark the completion of a multi-million dollar renovation of the facility.
The Clarksburg Mission and the Harrison County Economic Alliance Corporation were recipients of $5,000 checks from Cafaro Co., mall owner.
“Over 30 years ago my grandfather built this mall and these improvements we hope will help us be here another 30 more,” said Anthony Cafaro Jr.
Updates included flooring, ceiling treatments, food court improvements, lighting, signage, restrooms, lighting and a new entrance…
