W.Va. State Tax Department releases list of additional W.Va. municipalities Imposing sales and use taxes  

Release from the W.Va. State Tax Department:
CHARLESTON, W.Va. — W.Va. State Tax Department has announced that, effective July, 1, 2018, four additional municipalities in West Virginia will impose a local sales and use tax: Athens, Davis, Elizabeth and Elkins.
Those four are in addition to the 39 municipalities that currently impose sales and use taxes. This brings to 43 the number of West Virginia municipalities imposing sales and use taxes collected by the Tax Commissioner.
