Sen. Manchin’s staff visiting with flood-affected residents

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Sen. Joe Manchin’s representatives will be traveling the state this week, hosting special mobile office hours to assist flood-related victims.

“So many of our fellow West Virginians are in need, and I saw this first-hand as I traveled to the flood-affected areas over the last several days,” Sen. Manchin said. “To best serve West Virginians, I am deploying my staff to specific locations throughout the state, so that those in need of help can get it from my office directly. My staff can explain how to begin the FEMA process, get your needs to the appropriate authorities, and will try to assist you with anything you need.”

Sen. Manchin’s representatives will have FEMA handouts and case materials to share with residents. West Virginians will be connected to specialized caseworkers in the Senator’s office that can provide help.

More hours and locations will be added daily in flood-impacted counties.  If you’d like to request Manchin Mobile Office hours to assist with flood related issues in your community, please call 304-342-5855, message Senator Manchin on Facebook or email him at [email protected].
