Scripps Howard Foundation recognizes WVU’s Maryanne Reed

CHICAGO, Ill. — Maryanne Reed, dean of the WVU Reed College of Media, was honored the Scripps Howard Foundation as its Administrator of the Year during the annual Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication convention in Chicago. 

At AEJMC Conference, the Scripps Howard Foundation honors Reed as Administrator of the Year and Allan Richards from FIU College of Communication, Architecture + The Arts as Teacher of the Year.

—  The Scripps Howard Foundation works to build and improve the quality of life in communities across the country. Through educational programs, grants and scholarships Scripps Howard Foundation advances that cause, with a focus on journalistic excellence and thriving communities. “It’s our belief the free press is vital to all of our futures, and serving those around us, serves us all.”

— The Association for Education in Journalism and Mass Communication (AEJMC) is a nonprofit, educational association of journalism and mass communication educators, students and media professionals.
