CHARLESTON, W.Va. – Second District congressional candidates Alex Mooney (R) and Nick Casey (D) will jointly participate in a candidate forum from 10:30 a.m. – noon, on Thursday, July 24, 2014.
The event is being conducted by the West Virginia Business & Industry Council (BIC) and will take place in the West Virginia Room (Room 105) at the Charleston Civic Center.
”We are appreciative of both candidates for their willingness to participate and we expect to learn a great deal about their positions on issues of importance to the business community as well as their ideas for moving West Virginia forward,” said Chris Hamilton, BIC chairman.
Media are invited to attend the event, although no questions will be allowed during the forum. One-on-one interviews may be conducted, based on candidate willingness, at the end of the forum.
