‘Ghost Stories’ supplement accepting spooky submissions

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel

PARKERSBURG, W.Va.  — Something wicked this way comes … again.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel’s annual “Ghost Stories,” a collection of the unexplained, other wordly and paranormal, is accepting stories from residents of the Mid-Ohio Valley and beyond. How far beyond? Far.

Submissions will be accepted until Oct. 9.

“Ghost Stories” publishes on Oct. 12. Halloween is Oct. 31. Coincidence? We don’t think so.

Your ghost stories can be about anything of the macabre, astral sightings, spectres of the night, monsters, ghosts, demonic possessions, UFOs and events that defy logic and rational explanation.

Tales told around the campfire on a dark and gloomy night are perfect for Ghost Stories.

When it’s too scary for some, it’s just right for Ghost Stories.

Digital submissions are preferred to prevent errors. Submissions that are handwritten should be legibly printed, but typewritten entries are preferred.

If you have a photo, better yet. Include them as jpeg attachments with electronic submissions. Fax photos will not be accepted.
